Healing is a partnership between You and God..
Wheither it is your physical healing or maybe your marriage.. how about an addiction, or behavior..
Healing is a partnership between you and the Lord,, he will do his part but he requires you to do yours.. and that means.... CHANGE..
In John 5, when Jesus asked the man at the pool of Bethesda,, he said... "“Do you want to get well?”..He knew that once he healed the man,, life would have to change for him.. for example..this man had been living off the kind hearts of other who would bring him food and such.. once he was healed he would be expected to work and provide for himself.. He would have to CHANGE his life around.. Later that day Jesus saw him again and said..Later, Jesus met the man in the temple and told him, “You are now well. But don’t sin anymore or something worse might happen to you.” Jesus was trying to warn him not to go back to a life of sin ,,that he had been given a new leaf on life...

A lot of times we ask God to heal our bodies,, and when he does we enjoy that healing for a while but then we go back to our old ways..and then we are worse off then we were before..

We ask God to heal our marriages, and we experience that Honeymoon phase..but then we go back to our old ways..and we are right back where we started but now in the back of our minds we say.."well we tried to fix it but it didnt last"

We ask God to heal us of an additions or a wrong behavior,, and we are strong for a while,,but then we get with the wrong people again..and we loose our healing do to our actions..
